We made this because some of our favorite memories aren't always the big rides.
Sometimes it's the drive there. Sitting around camp. The kids asking a million questions. Someone coloring at the table while everyone else is getting ready. Or those quiet few minutes at the end of a long day when everybody finally slows down.
We wanted something that could be part of those moments.
Throw it in the camper. Keep it in the car. Bring it to the dunes. Color a page together, work through an activity, learn something new or just give the kids something that's actually theirs to make a mess of.
We're making these at home, one small batch at a time. They're not meant to stay perfect.
Color outside the lines. Write on the pages. Get a little sand in it. Let it get tossed around with the rest of the camp stuff.
Hopefully one day you find it again and remember where it went with you — and who was sitting beside you.
